‘Death of a Unicorn’ Trailer: Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd Run Over a Unicorn in Darkly Funny A24 Movie
A24 has released the first trailer for 'Death of a Unicorn,' starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega.
Written and directed by Alex Scharfman, the film follows Elliot (Rudd) and Riley (Ortega), a father-daughter duo that accidentally kills a unicorn. The official synopsis of the film reads: “A father (Rudd) and daughter (Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.” The darkly comedic trailer shows the gruesome hit and run that kills the unicorn and the lengths Elliot and Riley go to hide their crime. The film is produced by Tyler Campellone and Lars Knudsen for Square Peg, Tim Headington and Theresa Steel Page for Ley Line Entertainment and Drew Houpts and Lucas Joaquin for Secret Engine.
