The stage musical adaptation of Death Becomes Her will open on Broadway this fall, with Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, Christopher Sieber and Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams in the principal roles they’re currently playing in Chicago. The musical is based on the Universal Pictures 1992 film starring Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Bruce Willis, and Isabella Rossellini, written by David Koepp and Martin Donovan, and directed by Robert Zemeckis. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.
