So it only makes sense that Fox would approach Deadpool director Tim Miller to take a crack at the iconic team of mutants. When speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller explained that he was working on an X-Men film inspired by Home Alone prior to the buyout, and still hopes to see it made one day under the new regime. Though given Marvel’s track record with picking up where other studios left off, it’s not likely Tim Miller will be stepping back into the director’s chair for it anytime soon.
