‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ Producer Reveals Scrapped Plans To Parody MCU
It seems Deadpool and Wolverine never planned to take the MCU seriously! One of the film’s producers revealed their early concepts that poked fun at Marvel.
Wendy Jacobson, who served as executive producer for Deadpool and Wolverine, revealed that the film went through a lot of concepts before landing on the current incarnation. However, given the appearance of a number of key X-Men in his films, it likely would’ve made hardcore Marvel canon-heads blow their tops.
