'Deadpool & Wolverine' First Trailer: Ryan Reynolds Shakes Up Multiverse With Hugh Jackman

The film hits theaters July 26 and the first trailer was shown on Super Bowl Sunday.

During Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Marvel released a brand new look at the highly anticipated third installment in the Deadpool franchise, the first since the character was acquired from Fox by Disney. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer shows Reynolds' Wade Wilson and his signature meta-humor, calling out the jump from Fox to Disney in a fourth-wall-breaking moment as he is abducted by the Time Variance Authority (TVA), a Marvel organization first introduced in the Disney+ Loki series. Marvel Studios also debuted a brand-new poster for the film alongside the trailer, which shows a heart friendship necklace split in two with Deadpool's mask on one side and Wolverine's on the other.
