Jason Momoa is taking over the DC Universe! New details about his role emerge as the director of Deadpool 2 reveals his desire to make a Lobo solo film.

Off the heels of Jason Momoa announcing that he’d been cast in the role of Lobo, Deadpool 2 and Bullet Train director David Leith expressed his interest in making a solo film for the character set in the new DC Universe. While this is far from confirmation that a project is in the works, it does show that some big names are interested in taking a swing for the relatively unknown bounty hunter as he makes his silver screen debut in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Even though there’s already a director lining up to give Lobo a solo film, it seems Jason Momoa won’t be having as big of a role as many fans hoped in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
