‘Days Of Our Lives’ Head Writer Ron Carlivati Departing Peacock Soap After Seven Years
DOOL;s head writer for the last seven years has left the Peacock sudser and is being replaced by Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford.
“We look forward to approaching our 60th Anniversary next year with Paula and Jeanne Marie at the helm and fresh, exciting stories that we know the fans will embrace,” said Executive Producer Ken Corday. Last July, Deadline revealed details from a nine-week investigation into misconduct allegations against longtime Days of Our Lives director/co-executive producer Albert Alarr. About 30-40 people — primarily women — were interviewed in the investigation, which probed accusations of inappropriate comments and physical contact, including groping and forceful kissing, and revealed a toxic environment on the show that allegedly had been fostered by Alarr for years.
