‘Days Of Our Lives’ Bringing Back Alison Sweeney
Alison Sweeney is returning to Days of Our Lives after a two-year absence. Her episodes will debut in 2025.
During her time on the drama the actress was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category in 2015 and won the Special Fan Emmy Award for America’s Favorite Villain in 2002. Sweeney first arrived at DOOL in 1993 to play Sami, the daughter of Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). The actress has made multiple visits to the soap since her exit 10 years ago and was happy this one lined up with her current filming schedule.
