‘Dalia and the Red Book’ Gets First English-Language Trailer Ahead of Cannes Market Screenings (EXCLUSIVE)

The film has already been picked up by Disney in Latin America, where the film will debut theatrically in October.

With a unique aesthetic inspired by modern favorites such as “Corpse Bride” and “Paranorman,” the haunting kids and family feature tells the story of Dalia, the 12-year-old daughter of a recently deceased author. Helmed by “A Mouse Tale” co-director Bisbano, “Dalia” is a trans-Atlantic co-production between Argentina’s FilmSharks, Vista Sur, and Mi Perro Producciones, Spain’s Doce and Mr. Miyagi, Peru’s Golem, Brazil’s Cine2, Colombia’s Signos Studios and Ecuador’s Matte. FilmSharks has also closed deals with Little Brother for German-speaking countries, Nashe Kino for Russia and the Baltics, AV-Jet in Taiwan, Muse Ent in Singapore and Nos Lusomundo in Portugal.
