“The Daily Show” host Michael Kosta and correspondent Josh Johnson on Tuesday examined the stark differences between GOP vice presidential candidate JD Vance and his Democratic counterpart Tim Walz. Johnson talked about how presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris had chosen “the right type of white guy” as her running mate. Walz “appeals to the older white guy who always tells the same joke to the server at Denny’s” whereas GOP nominee Donald Trump ’s choice of Vance “appeals to the older white guys who say thinks like, ‘I’m not racist but…’ and then say the most racist shit you’ve ever heard,” said Johnson.
