‘Creature Commandos’ Season 2 Being ‘Fast-Tracked’ At DC Studios

Season 2 of Creature Commandos may come sooner than fans think! DC Studios is fast-tracking development of the next season of their flagship animated series.

While James Gunn has a reputation for making hits with misfits, many saw the animated series as a fun little detour before DC Studios got to the real meat of their slate with Superman and Peacemaker. Though given how long any series takes to release these days, and how busy James Gunn is in running DC Studios, fans were content to kick their legs back and wait years for Creature Commandos to return to their television screens. These include Nosferata and Khalis, two monstrous villains making their DC Studios debut in the animated series, and King Shark, who returns from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad played by Diedrich Bader.
