While plot details are unknown at the time sources close to the project say the film is in the vein of Crazy Stupid Love, the rom com starring Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Julianne Moore which helped launch the duos directing career. While this film marks the first feature directing job since 2016, the duo has been busy on the writing side as well as working on some high-profile TV shows. They had also been involved in the hit NBC series This Is Us, reuniting with their Crazy Stupid Love scribe Dan Fogelman.
