A 'Crazy Rich Asians' series is in development from Adele Lim, Jon M. Chu and author Kevin Kwan at Max.
Max’s Crazy Rich Asians TV series has officially opened a development room led by Adele Lim who will serve as executive producer, writer and showrunner. Crazy Rich Asians(book and film) follows Chinese-American Rachel (Constance Wu) and her fiancé Nick’s (Henry Golding) love story as they travel to visit his family and friends in his native Singapore. The ensemble cast also includes Gemma Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Nico Santos, Ronny Chieng, Jimmy O. Yang, Ken Jeong, Awkwafina, and Lisa Lu, among others.
