‘Crazy Rich Asians’ Producer Janice Chua Joins Third Culture Content, U.S. Adaptation of Korean Hit ‘King the Land’ in Works (EXCLUSIVE)


'Crazy Rich Asians' producer Janice Chua has boarded global production company Third Culture Content as co-founder and producer.

The Los Angeles and Seoul-based outfit, which produced the English-Korean bilingual series “Dramaworld” that bowed on Netflix globally before its second season hit Prime Video (U.S.), ITV (U.K.), CBC (Canada), iQiyi (Southeast Asia), Tving (Korea), and U-Next (Japan), is plotting an ambitious growth strategy for 2025. Earlier this month, Dulake and Chua were named faculty leads for CAPCA (Canada-Asia Pacific Co-Production Accelerator), backed by Canadian government agency RESO (Racial Equity Screen Office) and SLL. TCC boasts a diverse development slate featuring collaborations with creatives from the U.S., Canada, South Korea, India, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
