Víctor Erice's 'Close Your Eyes,' Andrew Haigh's 'All of Us Strangers' and Justine Triet's 'Anatomy of a Fall' won top prizes at the ICS Awards.
Víctor Erice’s “ Close Your Eyes,” Andrew Haigh’s “All of Us Strangers” and Justine Triet’s “ Anatomy of a Fall ” dominated this year’s 21st ICS Awards, winning the top prizes. “Close Your Eyes,” which picked up best picture and best director, revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a Spanish actor during the filming of a movie. Other winners include the animated feature “The Boy and the Heron” from Japanese master Hayao Miyazaki; and Lois Patiño’s “Samsara” which opened at the Berlinale in the Encounters section and won best cinematography at the ICS Awards.
