'Challengers,' the Zendaya-starring drama about a trio of tennis players enmeshed in a love triangle, has a new trailer and release date.
Challengers, the Luca Guadagnino-directed, Zendaya-starring drama about a trio of tennis players enmeshed in a love triangle, is back with a new trailer and release date after the film was postponed last year due to the Hollywood strikes. The movie follows former tennis star Tashi Duncan (Zendaya) — whose career is cut short by a leg injury — alongside her pro husband Art (Mike Faist) as they reconnect with a former rival/lover Patrick (Josh O’Conner) years later. The Amazon MGM Studios film was written by Justin Kuritzkes and features a score composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who previously worked with Guadagnino on 2022’s Bones and All, a cannibal love story that starred Zendaya’s Dune cast mate Timothée Chalamet.
