‘Carrie’ TV Series From Mike Flanagan Officially Greenlighted By Prime Video
Prime Video has confirmed a series green light for Carrie, a TV series based on the Stephen King novel. Mike Flanagan is set as EP and showrunner.
After her father’s sudden death, Carrie finds herself contending with the challenges of attending high school, a bullying scandal and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers. “ Carrie is an iconic story that has withstood the test of time with continued cultural relevance,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios.
