Anthony Mackie is set to reprise his superhero role in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

Actors who will reprise their role include Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier / Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Kelsey Grammer (Beast). At the end of the last Avengers film, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) passes on his Captain America shield to Mackie’s Sam Wilson.
