Anthony Mackie takes the coveted shield in the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth installment of the Cap’s franchise and the first since Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers bid adieu to the superhero life in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. In the new teaser, Mackie’s Sam Wilson, previously known as The Falcon, is recruited by newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross ( Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut) to fill the Captain vacancy and become a U.S. agent to boot. In addition to Mackie and Ford, Captain America: Brave New World stars Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson.
