‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Reportedly Cut Two Major Characters Prior To Release

Captain America: Brave New World was trimming fat HARD! Reports indicate that two major characters had their MCU debuts scrapped prior to release.

Fans can say a lot about Captain America: Brave New World, but one thing they can’t deny is that the movie did try to connect itself to the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe. Captain America, Falcon, Red Hulk, Sabra, Leader, and Sidewinder alone all appeared on the main poster, not to mention side characters like Betty Ross and Isaiah Bradley. Given Rollins himself was cut from the final release of Captain America: Brave New World, many also assumed that Salazar’s role would also be scrapped in favor of Giancarlo Esposito’s Sidewinder taking the lead.
