Captain America: Brave New World nears $300M global box office, Mufasa is crossing $700M and Bridget Jones charms at overseas cinemas
They include Marvel/Disney’s Captain America: Brave New World which is nearing $300M global after the sophomore session, and Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King which is expected to hit $700M with Monday, after 10 frames and a day. And, continuing its record-breaking run, Chinese blockbuster Ne Zha 2 is on the approach to $1.9B in the home market alone, after becoming the highest-grossing animated movie ever worldwide last week. Also a big hit in the UK, Studiocanal’s Paddington in Peru has upped its global cume to$150.2M and the international marmalade pot to$125M, including $25.3M from Sony markets.
