'Captain America: Brave New World' Enters Reshoots, Adds Giancarlo Esposito in New Role

'Captain America: Brave New World' is going to have some differences with the addition of a new star!

The Marvel movie will be the first to feature Anthony Mackie wielding Captain America’s iconic shield after taking over the role in 2021′s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Filming is expected to take around 22 days, and the outlet reported that the additional footage will include “new action sequences.” Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, this will be the first time that the movie has reshot content. A teaser aired at CinemaCon revealed that Harrison Ford will be playing Thaddeus Ross and attempting to recruit Sam Wilson (Mackie) to rebuild the Avengers after Endgame.
