‘Bridget Jones’ Leads February Surge With Record-Breaking Run as U.K., Ireland Box Office Up 15% Year-to-Date


The U.K. and Ireland box office soared in February, generating $129.9 million, a 20% boost compared to the $108.1 million recorded in February 2024.

Universal reigned supreme, thanks to “ Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy,” which delivered $49.6 million for the month, securing the title of the top-grossing film of the year so far. The film achieved a stellar 4.5-star rating in PostTrak exit polls and an impressive 96% Total Positive score among female audiences. The following weekend sees the arrival of Robert De Niro’s biographical crime drama “The Alto Knights” (Warner) and Disney’s live-action remake “Snow White” on March 21.
