‘Bridgerton’ Return Date Revealed Amid Questions About Season 4 Lead

Bridgerton's showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed that season 4 of the hit show will be released on Netflix in two years

“We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited and then they have to be dubbed into every language,” Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, June 12. Before Bridgerton returned earlier this year with Colin ( Luke Newton) and Penelope ( Nicola Coughlan) as the focus, Netflix expanded the universe with the prequel series Queen Charlotte, which premiered in 2023. Based on Julia Quinn‘s novels of the same name, the series began with the love story of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page).
