'Bridgerton' Producer Says Deleted Colin, Penelope Sex Scenes 'Don't Exist'
'Bridgerton' producer Tom Verica shut down rumors that there were sex scenes between Penelope and Colin that didn't make the final cut during season 3
Producer Tom Verica addressed the speculation on Wednesday, June 19, after sharing photos from the set, writing via Instagram, “A few more BTS pics @bridgertonnetflix I snapped along the way. The third season of the show, which is based on Julia Quinn’s book Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, largely focused on Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope’s (Nicola Coughlan) evolution from friends to lovers. During the first half of the third season, which started streaming on Thursday, May 16, Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) found themselves moving from friends to lovers.
