‘Boiling Point’ Director Sets Up Shop In London With Plans For Liverpool Hub
'Boiling Point's Philip Barantini has launched It's All Made Up Productions with Samantha Beddoe.
The company run by Boiling Point director Philip Barantini and exec Samantha Beddoe have a “slate of productions already in development with all major broadcasters and studios in the UK and U.S.,” they said, with greenlights understood to be incoming. Beddoe added: “With both of us coming from a similar background in the North West, there was also the mindset of establishing a platform for voices from our home city along with the opportunity to tell stories that we loved, on our terms and with the range of talent beyond the Watford Gap.” Other credits include Malpractice and The Responder, while he is working on an ambitious crime drama for Netflix with Jack Thorne and Boiling Point star Stephen Graham.
