‘Blade’ Trilogy Writer Wants To Write The MCU Reboot: ‘What In The World Is Going On?’

Is the Blade reboot getting another new writer? David S. Goyer, who wrote the original trilogy, has thrown his hat into the ring for the MCU incarnation.

David S. Goyer, who wrote all three films in the original Blade trilogy, was asked about his thoughts regarding the MCU’s long-delayed take on the character. David S. Goyer would be the seventh writer attached to the MCU’s Blade reboot if he joined the project, not counting any contributions not publicly known. Though given that the film’s main struggle seems to revolve around crafting a compelling story, perhaps bringing on one final writer wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
