'Billions' Actor Akili McDowell Arrested on Murder and Theft Charges
Akili McDowell was arrested on Aug. 1 after the shooting death of Cesar Peralta.
On Aug. 3, the Harris County Sheriff's Office announced on Facebook that the 21-year-old Billions actor had been arrested on a murder charge in the shooting death of Cesar Peralta, 20. On July 20, deputies responded to an incident that occurred in the parking lot of a Houston, Texas, apartment complex. Throughout his career, McDowell appeared on The Astronaut Wives Club as Zavier Gibbs and Billions as Savion Williams.
