‘Big Brother’ Alum Memphis Garrett Arrested for Theft of State Funds
'Big Brother' alum Memphis Garrett has been charged with stealing over $55,000 in state tax funds collected through his restaurant business
Big Brother alum Memphis Garrett was arrested on Thursday, May 15, for failing to give the state of Florida more than $50,000 that his restaurants collected in sales taxes. Since Big Brother premiered in July 2000, viewers have been introduced to hundreds of houseguests, many of whom have become fan favorites and competed on the show multiple times. His arrest comes as Garrett has endured a turbulent last year-plus after filing for divorce from fellow Big Brother All-Star Christmas Abbott in March 2024.
