‘Big Bang Theory’ Alum John Ross Bowie Joins Spinoff in Development at Max
Another former "Big Bang Theory" cast member has signed on to the spinoff series currently in the works at Max.
Variety has confirmed that John Ross Bowie has signed a talent holding deal with studio Warner Bros. Television that would see him reprise the role of Barry Kripke, or “Kwipke” if you’re nasty. In addition to his time on “Big Bang Theory,” Bowie is known for starring in shows like “Speechless” at ABC, “Children’s Hospital” at Adult Swim, and for films like “The Heat” and “Sex Drive.” He is repped by Innovative Artists. Aside from the mothership show, which ran for 12 highly-rated seasons on CBS, the prequel “Young Sheldon” wrapped up its own seven-season run at the broadcast network in May 2024.
