‘Beverly Hills Noir’ Chronicles 90210’s Biggest True-Crime Cases; Release Date Set
‘Beverly Hills Noir: Crime, Sin & Scandal in 90210,’ a book due Oct. 1 from journalist Scott Huver, details some of the town's most notorious crimes.
The book, which debuts Oct. 1, features a high-profile murder mystery in the city’s most extravagant mansion, the daring exploits of a handsome cat burglar, a toxic Tinseltown love triangle ending in gunplay, a Rat Pack barroom brawl, a brazen Rodeo Drive jewelry store holdup and an Oscar-nominated actress on a startling shoplifting spree. “ Beverly Hills Noir is the culmination of 30-year fascination with the darker underbelly of the city known for its wealth and glamour, beginning when I started my journalism career there at a local newspaper,” said Huver in a statement. “Over the years, as my career veered solidly into entertainment reporting, I continued to delve further into their details, and when the pandemic hit I finally found the time to assemble some of my very favorite stories for Beverly Hills Noir.
