‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’ Documentary Sets 2025 Release Date
"Becoming Led Zeppelin," a documentary about the iconic English rock band, will play on the big screen in 2025.
“We spent five years flying back and forth across the Atlantic scouring attics and basements in pursuit of rare and unseen film footage, photographs and music recordings,” writer-producer Allison McGourty said. In Variety’s review, chief film critic Owen Gleiberman praised the “extraordinary footage” in the doc but felt it catered too much to the band’s perspective. Tom Bernard, co-president and co-founder of Sony Pictures Classics, believes “Becoming Led Zeppelin” will be “inspirational to young people and legacy defining for generations to come.”
