‘Based On A True Story’: Season 2 Trailer Sees A Killer Marrying Into Kaley Cuoco & Chris Messina’s Family
Returning Nov. 21 to Peacock, Season 2 of 'Based on a True Story' sees another series of murders appearing to be by the Westside Ripper.
On Thursday, Peacock revealed the first trailer for Season 2 of its comedy thriller, which returns with on Nov. 21 with all eight episodes, featuring Ava (Cuoco) and Nathan Bartlett (Messina) with a 3-month old baby and a new series of murders on their minds. After discovering their friend Matt ( Tom Bateman) is a killer known as the Westside Ripper in Season 1, they made a deal to keep his secret if he stops killing and anonymously shares his story on their true crime podcast. Weisman, Cuoco and Messina serve as executive producers on Season 2, along with creator Craig Rosenberg, Jaclyn Moore, Alex Buono and Aggregate Films’ Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan.
