'From the World of John Wick: Ballerina' opened to $3.75 million in Thursday previews.
The film’s full title is the insanely clunky, focus-tested within an inch of its life, nearly as long as its 125 minute running time, “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.” The studio is already working on “John Wick 5,” as well as spinoff revolving around Donnie Yen’s blind assassin Caine and an animated prequel film. Len Wiseman (“Underworld”) directs “Ballerina.” In addition to Reeves and de Armas, the ensemble includes Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus and Ian McShane.
