EXCLUSIVE: Paramount+ ‘s The Ex-Wife and Castaways producer BlackBox MultiMedia has landed its latest development, a TV version of Caro Carver ‘s upcoming psychological thriller Bad Tourists. “There are so many layers to Caro’s writing and the protagonists of her story, which makes Bad Tourists ripe for TV adaptation,” said BlackBox CEO Giuliano Papadia. Guy Avshalom-founded BlackBox is coming off the back of a strong year, having made Paramount+ double The Castaways and The Serial Killer’s Wife, while in the past it produced the streamer’s first UK series, The Ex-Wife.
