'Bad Boys: Ride or Die' Has a Better Than Expected Opening at the Box Office!

The movie, which reunites Will Smith with Martin Lawrence for the fourth film in the movie franchise, earned an A- CinemaScore in North America and positive reviews. The movie is also now the second biggest domestic opening of the summer season, behind Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which debuted to $58 million domestically. The film cost $100 million to make, and is the follow-up to Bad Boys for Life, which opened to $62 million domestically in 2020 It made $426 million at the global box office before theaters shut down amid the pandemic.
