‘Back to the Future: The Musical’ Ending Broadway Run in January
'Back to the Future: The Musical' will end its Broadway run next year after ticket sales slowed down.
“ Back to the Future: The Musical,” a pricey stage adaptation of the beloved sci-fi adventure, is packing up the DeLorean. And given that “Back to the Future: The Musical” has a large cast and lots of special effects (the DeLorean is airborne at a certain point in the show), that commercial result isn’t sustainable. The show recently announced an eight-year deal with Royal Caribbean to play the musical in its full physical form on the cruise line’s ships.
