The true origin of Gambit has been revealed! The latest rumor for Avengers: Doomsday reveals the original universe of Channing Tatum’s ragin’ Cajun!
On one hand, it’s shocking that a film which focuses so heavily on the early days of Fox’s X-Men would add a new face to the legacy cast. A big joke in Deadpool and Wolverine is that Channing Tatum’s character never really knew his home universe, which was a jab at his film being cancelled before production. For those who didn’t see the film, the universe was seemingly home to a team of X-Men which included Kelsey Grammer’s Beast and Lashana Lynch as Binary.
