‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’: Exec Producers Christine Boylan & Jabbar Raisani To Lead Show As Albert Kim Moves On

Avatar: The Last Airbender undergoes a showrunner change as Albert Kim moves on, leaving Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani to lead seasons two and three.

“Benders” are people that have the ability to telekinetically manipulate and control the element corresponding to their nation, using gestures based on Chinese martial arts. But like a light in the darkness, hope springs forth when Aang (Gordon Cormier), a young Air Nomad — and the last of his kind — reawakens to take his rightful place as the next Avatar. Alongside his newfound friends Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Katara (Kiawentiio), siblings and members of the Southern Water Tribe, Aang embarks on a quest to save the world and fight back against the onslaught of Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim).
