‘Avatar 3’ Official Title And Logo For Sequel Revealed At Disney’s D23 Expo

Disney is finally giving fans what they want for Avatar 3! An official title and logo for the upcoming sequel has been shown off at the D23 expo.

Disney also provided a high quality logo for the project online during their D23 panel, along with confirming that the film will finally hit theaters this holiday season on December 19, 2024. Directed by James Cameron from a script he co-wrote with Josh Friedman, The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi and Kate Winslet. Disney’s Avatar: The Way of Water synopsis reads as follows: “Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.”
