As for the game itself, Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place during feudal Japan starting in 1579, while it explores regions like Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka and Iga. You play as a lethal Shinobi Assassin and a powerful Samurai warrior in dual mode during a time of civil war in Japan, as the country opens up to Portuguese traders and Jesuit missionaries. Available for pre-order right now, Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 is set for release on Friday, Nov. 15, at all sorts of online retailers, including Walmart.
