‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom’ Gets Max Streaming Date
'Aquaman 2' will be available to stream on Max in February.
The Jason Momoa-led superhero sequel will be available to watch on Max just two months after it debuted in theaters over the Christmas holiday. The film, which also stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, floundered at the box office, collecting only $123 million domestically. Variety chief film critic Owen Gleiberman wrote in his review of the “Aquaman” sequel, “The movie, with all that combat, is staged on an impressively grand scale by the returning director, James Wan, but at the same time there’s something glumly standard about it.”
