When speaking about his role as Hank Pym in the MCU, Michael Douglas reflected on the direction Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania took, revealing he’d requested a truly awesome death for his character that got denied. This might come to a shock to fans given the film set up a clear continuation for Hank Pym, Scott Lang, and the entire team in the future following the defeat of Kang the Conqueror. While this could simply be Michael Douglas being unaware of plans to bring back Hank Pym, it would also align with statements made by Disney on decreasing the quantity of MCU projects releasing.
