‘Anora’ Comes Out on Top With the Most Wins at the 2025 Oscars

‘Emilia Perez’ leads the pack with 13 total nominations at this year’s awards ceremony, followed closed by ‘The Brutalist’ and ‘Wicked’ with 10 each

Anora was the standout of the evening, winning five out of its six nominations at the Sunday, March 2, ceremony, including , Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Original Screenplay Out of Anora’s fellow Best Picture nominees, The Brutalist trailed closely behind, taking home three wins for Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Adrien Brody. When the 97th Academy Awards kicked off on Sunday, March 2, outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Dancing With the Stars judge Julianne Hough was among the first on the crimson rug.
