‘American Idol’ Season 22 Crowns Winner On ABC
American Idol crowned its Season 22 winner and said goodbye to Katy Perry.
The three finalists also sang Bon Jovi Songs, with Moseley taking “It’s My Life,” Blocker singing “I’ll Be There for You,” and Carter performing “Bed of Roses.” Other guest appearances included Jason Mraz, Seal, James Bay, Cody Johnson, Bishop Briggs, Nicki Frediani, Hootie and the Blowfish, New Kids on the Block, CeCe Winans, and Wynonna. Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie joined American Idol in 2018 when ABC revived the singing competition after fifteen seasons on Fox.
