‘American Idol’ alum Steven James threw some serious shade on social media over Katy Perry’s latest song, ‘OK’
In a now-viral video posted via TikTok earlier this week, James shared his reaction to one of Perry’s newest songs, “OK.” Released on December 20 as part of 1432, the deluxe version of her recent album, 143, “OK” is one of four extra tracks included on the new edition. “This can’t be the same person who eliminated me on American Idol 5 years ago,” James wrote over the video, which showed him listening to the song in his car, wincing at the lyrics and side-eyeing the camera. Fans flooded to the comments section to share their own opinions on the track, with one person writing, “It’s giving the Arthur theme song 😂,” in reference to the children’s cartoon.
