'American Classic' Adds 7 Actors To Cast Of MGM+ Comedy Starring Kevin Kline & Laura Linney
EXCLUSIVE: Seven actors have been added to the cast of American Classic, MGM+’s upcoming half-hour comedy series from creators Michael Hoffman(Soapdish, Restoration, The Last Station) and Bob Martin(The Prom, Slings and Arrows). American Classic centers on Broadway star and notorious narcissist Richard Bean ( Kevin Kline), who suffers a spectacular public meltdown and returns to his hometown and the family-run theater where he first became aware of his own brilliance. Harris Yulin will play Linus Bean, Richard and Jon’s father, an actor, a puppet maker, and the founder of the Millersburg Festival Theater.
