'Amanda Abbington wouldn't ask for Strictly footage if there's nothing on it' says star

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley appeared to share his support for Amanda Abbington, following the Strictly Come Dancing drama involving Giovanni Pernice

Chatting with entertainment reporter Richard Arnold on GMB, presenter Susanna Reid expressed her sadness that Amanda didn't seem to enjoy her time on the BBC show. A viewer posted online: "I notice they didn't ask Michelle, funny that, probably because they knew she would only have positive things to say which goes against Richard who is clearly on Amanda's side based on his comments earlier." The BBC told The Sun: " Strictly Come Dancing has always taken duty of care incredibly seriously and there is a constant dialogue between senior members of the production team and the contestants to ensure any concerns are addressed swiftly."
