‘Alpha’: Watch Teaser Trailer For Julia Ducournau’s Cannes Competition Title
Julia Ducournau's 'Alpha' has been generating buzz in Cannes and now the genre-bending pic has a teaser trailer.
The film, which is playing in Competition on the Criosette, follows Alpha, a troubled 13-year-old who lives her single mom. North American distributor Neon has now released an intense trailer that opens with the mother (Goldhiefteh Farahani) cradling her daughter (Mélissa Boros) in her arms as she sings softly. Producers for Alpha are Jean des Forêts and Amelie Jacquis of Petit Film and Eric & Nicolas Altmayer of Mandarin & Compagnie, with Frakas Productions co-producing.
