Brooke Shields is ready to revisit the setting of The Blue Lagoon with David Spade. Fox is developing 'Almost Paradise', a sitcom from Danny Zuker.
Fox is developing Almost Paradise, a multi-camera sitcom from comedy veteran Danny Zuker( Modern Family) and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment. If the project is greenlighted, the intention is for them to star as the lead characters whose names are Brooke and David, subject to availability. Executive produced by Zuker and Kaplan, Almost Paradise is part of an effort by Fox to get back into the multi-camera space after a string of single-camera comedy series over the last couple of years, most recently flagship Animal Control and freshman Going Dutch.
